1-year XBT mining forecast
Today's profit isn't next year's. This plays out difficulty growth, a price path, the halving and the 180-day coinbase lock, which means the XBT you mine can't be sold for about six months. Starts from live network data.
Your setup
Scenario
Difficulty adjusts every 2,016 blocks, about every two weeks. +3% per adjustment is about +115% a year. Bear: price −6%/month, difficulty +1%. Flat: price 0%, difficulty +3%. Bull: price +8%/month, difficulty +6%. These are scenarios, not predictions.

How this works
- Daily XBT = your hash rate ÷ network hash rate × blocks per day × (block subsidy + average fees) × uptime, minus the pool fee. Network hash rate grows by your difficulty setting at every 2,016-block adjustment.
- The lock: each day's rewards unlock 25,920 blocks later, about 180 days at today's block pace. "Cash from unlocked" assumes you sell coins the day they unlock, at that day's scenario price.
- The halving at block 1,050,000 cuts the subsidy from 3.125 to 1.5625 XBT. It's applied if it falls inside your horizon.
- Running total = cash from unlocked XBT − hardware − power paid so far. Break-even is the first day it turns positive.
- If you mine through a pool that pays out early from its own funds, your cash arrives sooner than shown. Ask your pool. Payout questions

Not financial advice. A thin market can't absorb large sales at the quoted price, and both price and difficulty can move much faster than any scenario here.
