XBT Tee Contest: design the next xbt.live shirt
Design a t-shirt for XBT. The community picks the winner, we sell it in the xbt.live shop, and you earn 20% of every sale, paid in XBT.
Prizes
| Place | Prize |
|---|---|
| Winner | Your design goes on sale in the shop, you get a free tee, and you earn 20% of every sale of your shirt, paid in XBT each month. |
| 3 runners-up | Your design becomes an xbt.live sticker, and you get a free tee. |
Free tees are sent as shop gift codes, so we never need your address. Royalties go to an XBT address you give us.
How to enter
- Make a t-shirt design about XBT: the fork, the chain, the culture, the memes.
- Post it on X with #XBTTeeContest and tag @Xbt_Live.
- Up to 3 entries per person. Mockups are welcome, but post the design itself too.
Dates
| Entries open | Now (Tuesday, Oct 27) |
| Entries close | Sunday, Nov 2, 23:59 UTC |
| Finalists + community poll on X | Nov 3 to Nov 5 |
| Winner on sale in the shop | Friday, Nov 6 |
Rules
- Original work only. No real people, no company or brand logos, no characters from movies, TV, games or comics, and nothing copied from someone else's art.
- AI tools are fine if the result follows the rules above.
- Keep it printable: up to 5 colors, readable on a black tee. High-resolution files (PNG with a transparent background, 4500 x 5400 px if you can) for finalists.
- Nothing hateful, sexual or targeting a private person.
- Finalists: xbt.live picks 4, then the community votes in an X poll. The poll decides the winner.
- Rights: by entering, you let xbt.live print and sell your design on merch. You keep ownership and credit. The winner and runners-up get the prizes above. Other entries won't be sold without asking you first.
- Royalties: 20% of the tee's sale price for every winning shirt sold, paid monthly in XBT for as long as the design is in the shop.
- xbt.live can disqualify entries that break the rules, and can change dates if needed. Changes will be posted here.
Need ideas?
Check what's already in the shop, then do something we haven't. Inside jokes work: a design that means nothing to outsiders and everything to people who were here for block 961,640.
