955 XBT nodes are reachable, and 85% enforce the coinbase lock
The XBT network now counts 955 reachable nodes, according to the B2B Node Census, an independent crawler of the network's DNS seeds. Including nodes that don't accept incoming connections, 1,704 are known. Reachable nodes are a floor: the real network is larger.

Almost the whole network runs Bitcoin Knots, the client maintained by Luke Dashjr. 557 nodes (58%) were fully synced to the tip at the last count, and 802 are classed as stable.
The lock has strong support
814 nodes, or 85%, enforce the soft fork that locks newly mined rewards for 45 days. The lock covers rewards from blocks 973,440 to 979,920, and that window has about 3,500 blocks left. A community poll is open on whether to extend the lock to 2027. Read about the vote.
