NeoxEX (Neoxa Exchange) and XBT: how to buy, fees and proof of reserves
NeoxEX, also called Neoxa Exchange (neoxa.exchange), is where most XBT trades. It lists three XBT markets, against USDC, USDT and BTC, and publishes proof of reserves you can check yourself. Here's how buying XBT there works, what it costs, and what to watch for.

How to buy XBT on NeoxEX
- Get an XBT wallet first, one that supports the BLAKE2b chain, like Shrike. Copy a receive address. Wallet guide
- Open an account at neoxa.exchange and turn on two-factor login with an authenticator app before you deposit anything.
- Deposit BTC, USDC or USDT. BTC usually gets the best fill because XBT/BTC has the most volume. For USDC or USDT, the network must match exactly on both sides.
- Buy with a limit order near the best ask, not a market order. The books are thin, and a market order can fill several percent worse than the price you see. A limit order that waits on the book also gets the lower maker fee.
- Withdraw to your own wallet. Send a small test first, then the rest. Check that the network says Bitcoin BLAKE2b (or BTCB2) before you confirm.
What it costs
Buying $500 of XBT costs about $0.50 in fees as a maker or $1.00 as a taker, plus the network fee shown on the withdraw screen. The bigger cost on a thin market is usually the spread between the best bid and ask, so compare prices on the live table first.
What to watch for
- XBT and Bitcoin addresses look the same. Never send XBT to a Bitcoin address, and never send BTC to an XBT deposit address.
